Fees
What you pay
Creating an index
Free. Creating an index writes a record on the protocol and does not require a transaction from your wallet, so there is no gas to pay and no listing fee.
Deposits and withdrawals
A deposit is an ordinary transfer from your wallet to the protocol treasury, so you pay Robinhood Chain network gas for it. A withdrawal is sent from the treasury back to your address and also costs network gas. Indexed does not add a fee on top of either.
Buying and selling an index
Spot buys and sells are settled against your protocol balance at the live blended price. There is no per trade protocol fee.
Leveraged positions
Opening a position moves collateral from your balance into the position. Closing it returns the collateral plus or minus the profit and loss. There is no funding rate and no opening fee. A liquidated position loses the collateral behind it.
What can still cost you
Network gas is set by the chain, not by us, and rises when the network is busy. The price you buy at is the blended market price of the assets inside the index, which moves between the moment you read it and the moment you confirm.
